Default where to buy doorhandle parts?

Part of the handle is broken, the trigger as I call it is cracked probably from squeezing it hard in the bad weather. Does anyone sell these also is there a good write up on dissasembly? I have it most of the way apart but the lock cylinder housing won't come out of the handle. Thanks

Parts are readily available on ebay or any of the dismantlers.

sometimes it's easier to replace the handle and changeout the lock cylinders from the old handle than trying to repair it.

I agree. That's what I did and it was a 30 min. job, cylinder changing included.

I have an extra trigger- I'm not positive if it's left or right though- I can check if you're interested- they're about $7 at Sunset- I could send it to you for a couple of bucks to pay for S&H... I'll have to look to see which side it is first... If you're interested, then, PM me... As for the rest of it- well, I went through the 968 handle switch- I would recommend painting the 944 handles body-color before switching, after having gone throuhg it all, actuallly... anyway, I'll try to PM you a link, in a minute, to the swap that a guy named Keith did for us, a long time ag- it will tell you how all that stuff goes together, etc....
