Well, since I didn't get everything I needed done last weekend, I'll be at it again this weekend. If anyone would like to help out, I'd greatly appreciate it

Sunday wrenching,

Realistically I think sunday would work best for me too. That way I can get some R&R in friday nite and Saturday and I can come by on my way home sunday or leave earlier on sunday. I just spent some time with Stevie and he saif to call him that he can also help. He just picked up a sweet classic Mercedez Benz. Me, Joe and his girlfriend stopped by to pick up the tires that Steve donated to Joe. That lucky bastard got 4 new like tires. We then gave Stevie a ride to pick up his new cruiser. The aforementioned Benz. Very clean just like the rest of Stevies cars...and his 993...priceless.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to join you this weekend.........just too much other stuff which needs my attention. So, I guess I'll have to settle for seeing some of you NEXT weekend in Osage Beach.

So, Michelle........were you able to finish the tranny swap, or did you scrap that plan and re-install the old one? Will the car be ready for Renntreffen?

Toast how? Just the Turbo itself or did the car find its way off the road?

Yeah, we're going to come anyway sans 951 The turbo was smoking, Matt, and I thought it needed a restrictor. Turns out there's 1/4" of play in the shaft. I'm now on the hunt for another turbo. Got any ideas?

Well, you could rebuild that one. You dont want the one I have, power will be too late in the band for you to enjoy it. If money is not an issue, call up Vitesse, John is doing some nice work with turbos (and he might want your old one).

Head over to the KCWS site, Michelle, and post the question there......I bet someone will have an answer for you.

Thanx lee.

Matt - I'm not sure what I'll do. I was thinking of a rebuild but I've heard too many bad things about Majestic. Do you know of another rebuilder? Dave gave me the name of a turbo place in Aurora. I'm gonna try them next.
