OT: what's happening in Germany?
Is Germany experiencing some economic growth spurt or something?
Reason I ask is because in the last 7 years, I have sent exactly three of my product to people in Germany. Not counting this week.
This week alone, I've gotten three orders from people in Germany.
This just doesn't happen in my business.

I was wondering the same.
We had 3 different order for Porsche parts from Germany, all in one week.
also for UK we get a bunch of orders, our shipping charges are very cheap for small items, about $6.00, maybe with shipping included they save a few bucks.
We get the parts for Germany and them ship them again back to Germany

Or they are just stealing americans credit card info. My check card info was stolen by someone in germany, then racked up to the tune of ~ $4000. I am pretty tight with my info, too. Although the last place i used it online before it was stolen was Lindsey Racing...hmm...

From: Central Illinois. Cornfields a plenty.
Strong euro has boosted a lot of EU spending in US small business.
Wolfe- FWIW, the larger companies (Fender, Gibson etc..) have adjusted thier retail prices to reflect the rise in the euro- I have done a LOT of EU sales- it's cheaper to paythe int'l freight than the local market adjusted differential on a worldwide product.
Well, that's MY opinion anyhow. I may be waay off, but there's my .02 worth.

I was reading somewhere that germany has overtaken the usa in exports. I believe the article stated by 33%. When I saw that my jaw dropped. I thought we were king of the hill. They are growing leaps and bounds. We are on the decline.

Quite the opposite actually - Germany, like most European countries are verging (if not already in) a recession. When we went to the Nurburgring earlier this year, us brits almost out numbered the Germans, because they're all tightening their purse strings!
