Default AC clutch noise

After replacing the compressor/clutch last month, I finally had nice, cold AC. But yesterday, terrible noise started coming from, what I assume, is the clutch. I mean it was a LOUD, shrill, noise. Thinking it was the belts, I squirted a little belt dressing on. It seems to have made the problem worse. Is there anything I can squirt around the clutch to lube it up (silicon spray, WD-40?), or will that fry it?

Thanks for any help.

Heyt;

If the bearing is bad, no spray lube will help it. Take off the belt and spin the pulley. You should be able to feel and hear roughness if it is bad.
