Question help - mystery plug

the wires going to the oil pressure sensor are inside a harness that also carries a wire that ends in a plug (90 degree angle). it was just sitting there going nowhere behind the water pump. anybody knows where this plugs into? TIA

It is yellow, right? I have the same thing on my car and I believe it is for an optional oil level sender. (Although I could be wrong! ) I would imagine that if the wire is tucked away, you will have the delete plate on the side your oil pan. (It is like a small triangular shaped plate with 3 tiny screws holding it to the oil pan.)
