Default crank o ring

uppon removing the timing gear on the crank, i've noticed the washer behind the key and the oil seal on the housing with a metal piece inside of it. i guess this metal center piece is the pump drive gear/sleeve, but i can't see the green o ring that came with my seal kit. can anybody please explain where or how to install this o ring? if anybody has some pics it be really great. on another note, i've been reading on the threads that ishould use never seize on most bolts/studs/nuts instead of locktite, or just going "dry". TIA. have a great weekend all and again thanks for all your input.

this is somewhat confusing because of all the parts, and much more easily explained with pics, but i can't get my PET up here, so here goes.......

the order from out to in is

balance shaft timing pulley
camshaft timing pulley
flat steet washer
black o-ring to slide over the crankshaft
oil pump gear with beveled edge out
brown seal 38x52x7

basically the o ring slides between the beveled edge of the oil pump gear and the flat washer, and it's all torqued down by the huge crankshaft nut.

which bolts/studs are you referring to? the only bolts i used loctite on were the water pump bolts. everything else was dry IIRC
