XPost: Recirculation Button Will Not Close Flaps
I searched around and couldn't find anything about this on either Rennlist or Clark's Garage, so I'm posting for some help here.
The recirculation button in the 87 944 turbo doesn't close the flaps near the heater blower in the engine compartment (i looked visually). The passenger side can be moved by hand up and down but the driver side is stuck open.
I noticed little cannisters with a vacuum line going to each trap door. Is there a way to test these? Should you see vacuum out of the lines going to them?

The vacuum lines don't close the flaps, the servo motors do that job.
You can test the various servo motors by applying voltage and ground to the right pins on the motor, but it is likely that your AC control head is shot.
