Default New Tires! Fuzion ZRi's...

Hey guys!

It's been a while since I've posted on the Renny, I've been super busy with my new job. I'm a set dresser on a Nick Cage movie being filmed in town here; I work 60-70 hours a week so I'm not usually awake enough to post something coherent...

So, I FINALLY replaced my bald Pirelli P7000's on my car. They were a good tire when they had tread, but they needed replacing. I was going to go with Yoko ES100's, but at the last minute I found out they were on back order due to a shipping strike here in Vancouver, and they wouldn't be in for another few weeks.

So I picked up a set of Fuzion ZRi's, 255/40 17's and 225/45 17's. They were quite affordable, $900 CDN for the set, and from the reviews here on Rennlist and on Tire Rack, they seemed like a good bet.

I've noticed a huge difference in ride comfort and grip through the corners and in the rain, though coming off bald tires, I can't do a proper comparison.

Regardless, I'm really happy with them and I'll let you guys know how they perform as I break them in.

How have other Fuzion owners liked their tires so far?

Great tires.

I'd enjoy them more if I could keep the car of jackstands.

I liked them enough after 5K on the 951 to put a set on the Q45. Great tire value and a very able performer in the rain.

Extremely happy with my Fuzion ZRi's. Especially for the price!
I paid about $110 for each front tire, and the rears were only about $130. Great value, and they hold very well when I'm auto-x'ing as well.
