On APRIL 4th 2005, I paypaled him $500usd for a set of BBS wheels.

He had come up with a few replies and resons why he did not send the wheels nor refund my money.. but the bottom line is, it is now AUGUST 29th, almost 5 months later, and I have nothing from him.

No replies to PM's or emails. His phone has been disconnected. Nothing.

Does anyone know him or his whereabouts, or if he is even still alive???

I feel ya!
I ordered some things from him on the Pelican board. He was very responsive up until I PayPal'd him my money and then I heard nothing out of him. Finally after one month and some days of no contact, some of the items I paid for arrived. I'm still pissed about the whole situation!
If you used a credit card, contact the card company. That's about all I can say.

He used to be a good guy but last I had heard he fell on hard times and pretty much fell off the face of the world.

I remember a while back on the 924 board he said he needed to spend a lot of time on moving his family home and his shop as well and that he'd be tangled up in a lot of things for a while. It has been quite sometime since I've seen any sign of him on the 924.org board though. I hope his goings are still going.

Yeah, can't say I've heard from him in ages. Last time I think was when I gave away all that stuff several months ago. I sent him a couple parts and he was very grateful about it. I'm really sorry to see your getting the short end there Rich, I hope it all gets sorted.

For what it's worth: I have absolutely no intention of slandering Mark or trying to make him look bad. I'm just trying to get my money back.

phoning the neighbors, good idea.... I have never really thought of that, it is a shame that some people are such a pain to do business with and others are so good about everything.
