968 6 speed in a 944s2? speedo? abs?
ok i did the searchs, read the posts. some say you need a 968 abs unit, other say a glue on deal...well, my 90 s2 cab has the same part munber abs unit as a 968. has anyone actually put a 968 trans in an abs car? some one said they had to add abs.

Did you buy that 968 trans that sold on Ebay on Sunday? I bid on that one, it ended up going fairly cheap (a little more than I wanted to pay at this point in time though).
While I have never done it myself, it should be straight forward. You just need to figure out the pulse-per-mile for the ABS and the trans and compare. You should be able to rig it so that the speedo/odo work properly with an interoplated signal from the ABS.
