Driving both the 28 and 44 in snow was no problem-the 28's weight actually helped a lot over the 44. Of course my skill was never a fear...it was the other North Texas Ice jockeys! Very easy to control on snow/packed ice/slush. Here in Texas that only lasts a day though...the next day it is either gone, or solid ice.
What you don't see in the 44 picture is that though I parked it there, I had to get some cardboard to get me out of there. The heat from the brakes etc, sunk my tread just enough so that I could not get traction to get out
