Default okay so I made a big oops today

Okay so my valve has had slight sippage since I bough the car no big deal. Just gave me an excuse to painted the valve cover when I got some time. So I started the task today and not worrying about getting it done right away(After all it is my fun car) and just take my time. well I went to remove teh two fuel lines(The on that goes to the FPR and the other that goes to the injectors(I think) and I bent that one small line thats right after the big hose its self, which means I have to get a new Fuel rail. How do the injectors come out? I think they just slide out, after I pull up the rail? if you guys have done this let me know. and I think the fuel rail on the S2 and turbo are differet Im I right?

the fuel rail bolts to the head in two separate locations. once you loosen these, and disconnect all the fuel line and vacuum line connections, the fuel rail will pull up and the injectors will come out of the intake manifold. the injectors are held onto the rail with little clips. you have to remove the clips then they will pull out of the rail.

Why don't you just try bending it back? And the injectors are gonna need some force to come out. You'll probably end up ripping into the o-rings but you should replace those anyways.

i would not drive that until you have the rail replaced. you could leak fuel and cause a fire to your engine bay.

While you have the fuel rail out, get a set of injector o-rings and hats. The hats are the little yellow plastic things that go on the squirting end of the injector and are probably brittle and broken. I don't know if this is a bad idea, but maybe you can have the fuel rail repaired by a welder. Sounds to me like it got bent, and the kink caused it to crack open... I don't know if welding can repair stress in metal, but maybe?

its a fairly straight forward job. you'll see the clips on the injectors, just pull em, wiggle the injectors out, I don't have an issue with them coming out of the rail. good luck.

What's valve sippage?

I just leave the hoses attached when I remove the rail. People have had them welded but you have to get someone good do it.
