Default Car Cover for 84 944

Although I know there are probably thousands of posts on this topic, for some reason I cannot get the search function to work this morning.

I need to store my track car outside sometimes. I would like to buy a high quality car cover for use outside (as opposed to a dust cover for the garage) for a reasonable price. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Also, can these covers be used while trailering a car, or will wind flapping harm the paint.

Thanks,

TD in DC

I had a nice lightweight cover from Budge- I think it was Linen..not quilted, just a travel cover. had several tiedown loops as well.
I have no idea if they are still available.

Most will say any car cover will scratch the paint, your best bet to minimize this is to buy a custom fit one...however custom fits are still loose enough that they will flap around in heavy enough winds (say on the expressway).

I bought a Tyvek cover from CarCoverWorld.Com . Good fit, and reasonably priced at $115. They have different materials you can have a cover made out of for different amounts.
