After replacing my starter, I noticed that the ! and airbag light stayed on. I reset the code per the instructions on 944garage but to no avail. Next, I recorded the fault code which is "30".

Anyone solve this problem????

According to 944garage this code is:

Fault 30 - Failure Warning Lamp Short circuit

Faults 30 and 31
Central warning lamp and belt symbol still light up after failure of the airbag sign.

Remove and check control lamp and replace if necessary.

Check wiring harness for damage and replace control unit if necessary.
