I bought one today. I have yet to use it because I need to buy pads for it. Where did you get your pads and how do they attach to the PC? Pics? Thanks.

ExcelDetails

I bought the kit in the above link. Really nice people to deal with and was shipped fast. Look around their site to get a chance for some free stuff.

The graininess came from not using the flash in a dimly lit area. The cam automatically speeds up to 800, thus lesser quality picture. Take her outside for some sharp pics!

I have a question about some wax. I recently waxed my car with NXT wax it looked awesome in the shop when i got done. Then the next day outside it looked terrible. It had like dark swirl marks like where i was putting it on or taking it off it was dark and light. Kinda blotchy looking. I talked to a guy and he said i was pushing too hard when i was putting the wax on. Any Advice?

Very nice! The 7424 is like a magic wand for hazy/swirly cars. Combined with some good pads and polish, it can work miracles. I really like Einszett polish and wax...it's a little harder to find, but I think it goes on and off easiest. Everyone has favorites, right?

Awesome job...it looks great!

It depends on a few factors. NXT is a liquid wax so the following things can cause streaks:

Not shaking the bottle periodically while applying
Applying wax when the humidity is high
Not allowing enough time for the wax to set prior to removing
Not applying a consistant coat (missing areas)
Too much wax build up from prior applications
Overspray or other contaminants on the piant

Did you apply and remove the wax by hand? In my detail shop we always apply wax by hand then push it in with an orbital. Depending on the conditions above, the streaks will probably go away after a few days. Especially if it was humid that day.

The orbitals I use look like this, I have 7 of them:

what kind of splitter is that? i am thinking about throwing one on but unsure which brand. My car will look similar to urs if i throw on the splitter since we have the same color and cut outs in the nose panel. I might try something different when the car is painted though. sorry for the OT

Well i had it sitting in the garage all day with the ac on.
I shook the bottle plenty and peridically.
I had plenty of time of it on there.

But my dad did get some overspray on the car so maybe thats it.

I think it is pretty much gone like u said now. And it was very humid when i was seeing the marks.

Also it may have a build up of wax cuz i have waxed my car quite a few times in the past couple of months. But i clay barred it before i waxed it also.

And I apply one wax with the orbital buffer. Then i apply the NXT by hand.

Wait until you try Pinnacle Sovereign wax and a PC buffer. Like water on dark cars!!!
