I convert all my cd's to MP3 atrac then put each cd in a diff folder and put it on one cd. I can hold 7-9 cd's with out losing quailty . And I dont have to keep changing cds

Umm, you must have a cd player that reads mp3's then? You certainly aren't putting 7-9 cd's in raw format in folders on one 700 or 800 mb cd....

Band, MP3's quality sucks.

I got the AGLA complete package, and MY boot doesn't come close to fitting on my retaining frame!? There's a little sticker inside the boot that has a 993 number...wonder if they shipped both of us the wrong boot??

No, it REALLY requires some elbow grease to get it over that plastic surround. I thought the same thing when I first got mine!

if you have 400GB, you can have tons of them at higher bitrates in the car...
I also have a MP3 CD player in the car, however I never use the cd function or the radio.
It just acts as the amp for THE HIVE , which will soon not even need the headunit.

back on topic : at least put a small sheet of paper between those cd's in the tray..

does that shifter come with the insert, or do you move the stock one over to it ??

When I pulled the top part around the frame, there was NO WAY to get the boot to even reach the bottom part, no matter how I pulled it. I even had my wife helping, holding one part on as I tried to stretch the boot over the other part.

Is there a trick to this?? Soaking the bottom in water maybe??

And, yes, you use your old insert - it just pops right on there.

if it's the Agla one with really thick elastic (about 1/4" thick) you will break the frame. Believe me I did it on 2 of them

No, it has a very thin elastic, but it is just way small compared to the original. I emailed AGLA, but got no response so far. I don't think it's the right size. There is tight, and there is silly. This has to be the wrong part number. Maybe the 993's had a smaller frame? There is a "993" sticker on the inside of the boot.

I knew I wasn't crazy! Alan Gun contacted me, saying they shipped the wrong boot and ****. The 993 set has a smaller bottom opening that wont fit on a 944/968! He's sending me the right one as we speak.
