Rennbay Rules! part too...
I didn't want to post this too soon so as to jinx my handy work. Anyway, Travis brought me an extra set of crush washers at 944fest. I installed them a week or so later in anticipation that it would finally fix my last steering rack leak. Well, that was not the final solution.
I did a little visual while I was messing around under the car, with the engine running. I could see the source of the leak was in fact between the main housing and the triangular shaped cover plate. My assumption was the o-ring had likely been pinched during one of the many removal and reinstall cycles I'd gone through.
Dropped Travis a note asking if he could send me another replacement o-ring. I also had a little shopping list of parts to fix the lost cover (spring, o-ring, grease fitting, cap, etc) for the lower ball joint that - ehem - I had over greased a few months earlier. Just as the warning states, don't apply too much pressure with a grease gun.
So a day or two later, I get a nice little care-package from Rennbay. It has an o-ring that is larger in cross-sectional diameter than the one I removed from the rack. This should do the trick! Have that back together in no time and try it out. No leak! Eureka! Wunderbar!
The ball joint only took another half hour to fix as well. All is great.
Thanks Travis! Rennbay Rules!
Oh, I'll post a picture of my dry driveway soon. No more leaks! Should be as interesting as watching the grass grow....

I have to jump in as well! Rennbay Rulez!
Just got my Wilwood brakes on and tested out (after replacing numberous other brake parts). I went from "slowing down" to defying physics! Absolutely phenominal, I can't wait to try them on the track...
Now if there was the Rennbay 50hp 944na package to compliment them, then we would REALLY be set!

Drifting
btw...I was wondering...what pads do those kits use? Not that I'm trying to cut you out of the loop on pad sales, but if some day rennbay is no more, I wouldn't want to be stuck without any avenue to new pads...
