Default Repair or Replace NA Front Spoiler?

I've got the usual little dings and cracking paint on the front spoiler. What have you done to improve yours?

Has anyone had it pulled, repaired and repainted? How much?

AutoAtlanta has an aftermarket one that you can supposedly twist like a pretzel and nothing happens to it - anyone try this product?

Thanks.. Howard

Any pictures of the condition of it? I really think it depends on how badly its beat up. I defenetley need to get mine fixed or replaced eventually, its pretty deformed due to a 4 inch crack on the inner side. The one thing i hate is seeing pictures of cars with a perfect front valance...

If your spoiler isn't warped I'd suggest replacing it man. You're in San Diego too, have you checked out John at Autobahn (in santee) and his supply of NA front spoilers? You can probably find one in good condition and have it resprayed if your spoiler is too damaged.

From what you describe it sounds like you just have the usual chips. there's a bodyshop called 1 Day Paint that did the paint on my car. They did a really good job on my front spoiler and I'd highly recommend them to you for fiberglass repair. Be sure to tell them repeatedly to use flex agent int he paint though or you'll be back in 6 months like I was.

I had mine fix when I bought it. The bottom was cracked...the bodyshop executed quite a fine repair with a plate fix to the bottom of it, out of site, with some kind of plastic rivets.

Martin, what did you pay for the repair and repaint if you don't mind me asking? A local place wants about $800 ($400 to refinish and $400 to paint) and I suppose I don't blame them. I think I'm going to just live with the few defects, since it is structurally sound otherwise.
