Hi,
Owned my 944 S2 Cab for about 4 weeks. Im very impressed by the car and am slowly solving the niggles you get with a 15 year old car.
One thing I cant solve as yet is the need to really slam the doors hard to get them to close.
I have tried to alter the lock mechanism to improve the alignment but with no success yet. From the side the door alingnment and fit looks good.
Before I start going to town on the job, does anybody have any bright ideas how I can solve?
many thanks
Rob (England).

I have that problem when the top is up due to the top seals. Thankfully the top is down 90% of the time. It's just a 'feature' of the top seals I think.

Have you tried lubeing up the door stay?
That black line in between your doors hinges can cause all kinds of annoying!
It can make it seem like you need to be a ten ton gorilla to close a door and when it is lubed a butterfly could close the door.
White lithium worked for me.
