looking for amber lit gauges

ideally something affordable - vdo/autometer
thinking boost, oil temp and exhaust temp

I am using the VDO Vision series. Looks close enough to stock for most not to notice.

hmm - I actually have one of those left over from my audi - but it has the red condom on it - I presume you are just using the stock bulb w/o anything over it?

Yes- if you want amber illumination, just slip an orange, or red condom over the bulb.
