Mixing tap water with anti-freeze will fuse almost every wafer-thin water jacket cell shut with whitish deposits, in a matter of months. A clogged radiator = hot, green, vomit spewing everywhere as some may attempt to "vent" trapped air while uncapping that roiling kettle of the expansion tank.

I slowly pour a full cup of Lime-Away inside, while flushing my radiator out. Then, I add a canister of AlumaSeal with high-pressure hot water, to drive the partially-dissolved caking out entirely.
