Default My $13.95 EBAY Purchase

I've seen them go over $40. Now I've got a couple of the old kits.

Cool, I have been searching for one too. I found one in a hobby store once but they were asking $50. No way.

I'm sure the release of the new ones (~25$) will deflate some of the collectability of the old ones. I have a couple of the hasegawas and now that replacements are available it's ok to start glueing! You definately got a great deal on that one either way.

Build it! The finished model justifies exactly what you paid for it.

$7, wow! For a couple of months a while ago I was watching/biding on those and they were reaching $50. I would have paid up to $35... Nice find.

I keep saying I'll build one but I haven't yet. I think I've got 5 or 6 now. 2 cabs., 2 or 3 turbos, and the racing version. Really looking for the "S" model.

I'd guess that unless you want a specific color, you would be hard pressed to build a kit into a better display model than the diecast ones coming out this fall. I've got my pre orders in for a few. The ones I've seen (924) are very detailed and well done.

Here is a link to a thread with pics of the released 924. A 944 Turbo, an S2 and Cabriolets are in the pipeline IIRC, here in the fall. They really look beautiful, although pricey.

Thanks, Rich!!

That 924 is 1:18. I know there are some 1:43 Turbos coming, I hope there are 1:18 Turbos coming too!
