Default Passed inspection, failed "Sideslip, front axle"!?

So now I know my brake rotors aren't the cause of my shimmy during braking.

Z--Does this make it easier to diagnose my problem?? Could the wheel bearing be looser than you and Dave thought?

Bearing could be fine, even new, and you still get slop. The bearing sits in a race that is pressed into the hub. Sometimes the fit between the hub and race isn't as tight as it should be because for some reasons or another it has worn and wobbles around in there a bit. Solution to problem is replace the hub.

I know this from experience.

I am not a mechanic, but that is how it was explained to me.
