Default Another A/C Question

Where are the lowside fittings to charge the a/c located on both a '87 924S and a '86 951?

TIA

My '87 has a low side fitting at the rear of the compressor. There are also low and high side fittings on the driver side shock tower.

If your 924S uses the early compressor, the low side fitting is at the front of the compressor. To get a service hose on the fitting you need to loosen the compressor mounting bolts, loosen the tensioner mounting bolts, slack the drive belt, swing the compressor down, attach the hose, and CAREFULLY tension the belt. Keep an eye on the clearance between the hose fitting and the mounting bracket, and don't over tension the belt. You may get some belt squeal during the re-charge, but that is normal.
