Default Wow! A 951 Crack Pipe!

Man, this thing hits like nothin' I eva seen.

Pulled this off last night....went to 944 fest and back with it like this. Wonder why my brake reservoir and clutch master cylinder fitting melted, along with some vacuum lines? This puppy took 2.5 hours to get out, so in that way it was a bear. Just had it welded today, so now maybe my car will be fast.

There it is at 944 Fest, the broke car.

It looks like that's an aftermarket section welded in there. . . Maybe this has happened before?

? That weld on the edge of the picture I believe is the end of the factory heat shield.

Maybe. . . It's been a while since I had mine out of the car to look at it so you're probably right. Just looked kinda' weird. Anyway that's the first time I've seen a failure like that. Rather than pay to have it repaired I'd just find another. Bummer.

We had damian's brother weld it up for me yesterday; hopefully the weld holds, he flowed a ton of it in. Worst case scenario is that I'll have to replace the pipe. Here is another pic of the pipe with some intersting markings on it, maybe junkyard?

Oh, there's me suffering.

Also, note all the black residue on the underside of the hood from the exhaust.
