My warped/crazy looking valance
My valance is all bent up and crazy looking. It must be bent up more than it appears at first because my car just doesn't look like other 944s when sitting next to them. What all can be done to fix it? The lowest piece and right center piece are bent downward. The worst looking part is that the ends are pushed inward where they meet the fenders, was there bracing for the early valances to prevent this from happening? Also, I hear that you can heat the valance and bend the bowed parts back into shape; will it mess up the paint?

Get a new one, or a good used one. That one is tired. It would take more time and money to get it anywhere near decent than it would to just get another that is nice.

so was I. then I hit a deer and the ins. co. bought me a new fender, bumper and valence at porsche list price. 2800! I got a new valence, fender and had half of my car painted!
now go hit a deer at 30mph!

well, let me know tyler, we could probably have you painted for about $30 paint/primer/clear and all included. I would call out to amens and see if there is a good valance out there. I think they just got a new 944! supposed to be black I think.

I'll sell you a new one for $170(originally paid $200 more than that) and Macfreak007 will paint it for $30 and a six pack so there you go. $200 for painted brand new valence
