bump -
only because I haven't been on the computer, well rennlist for 5 days, the office has been crazy...
A Reno SQR 46 and a Charleston SQR 26 were factory blaupunkt cassette radios offered by porsche - but they weren't the only ones. On my 944, it was supposed to come with a Reno (option code 158) but i actually have a Charleston that is broken (which is option code 160). I have all papers/docs/build sheets etc. for my car and I am supposed to have a Reno so if you could check it out and have a nice one you would part with that would be awesome. Thanks.
Oh and to be a little OT - anyone who hasn't joined yet is missing soooooo much...I have seen more info/parts/whatever in 5 minutes than in the 20 days I spent surfing the forums as a registered user - thanks Dev for the "shut up and go join Rennlist now that you have a 44" last month and thanks to John and Jenn for their work (and for quickly updating my status!)
Edit - For those who don't know/are not familiar w/factory blau's, the radios say the name and model # on the front (if it hasnt faded or worn off over the years) opposite the blau logo usually.

Feel free to drop me a line as well if you guys have a working Blaupunkt Reno. I'm in the exact same boat as ninefourfour89.
ninefourfour89, I have a blaupunkt dearborn (virtually identical to the charleston) in mine instead of the proper reno. Drop me a line when you take yours out if you need any counsel on hooking up the reno. I've taken mine apart and put in a reno in the past (it ended up being defective), so I should be able to answer any questions.

That's funny, because my factory Blau doesn't say Charleston...

KLR thanks - everything is all original in my car so I should be fine, as far as wiring goes, but if I need help I 'll give you a holler. My Charleston (faded front) radio is fine except the cassette clicks when you try to play cassettes (the auto reverse feature keeps switching over and over) but I need the Reno anyway - the charelston was put in at some point by the original owner, I guess something happened to the reno that it had originally.
And man - that Reno in the pic is CLEAN - I HOPE I get one that nice!

hmmm... I had an Aspen CM-147.
I understand that it was a replacement for the original. Any chance that someone would want it? This Blau is just collecting dust now that the Pioneer is installed.

I can part with either or both.
