F/S 1983 Porsche 944 Project Car - $500 obo
For sale in Dallas, Texas. My tired Porsche 944, 1983 model, gold with brown interior. It was running three years ago when I gave it to my brother in law. He parked it in his driveway and never started it. It will start with starting fluid but I haven't had the time to jack with finding the fuel supply problem. New battery, new NOS rear wing (not installed), good used set of door panels and door pockets included. Interior is pretty rough but all there. Blaupunkt Cambridge in-dash removable face cd reciever, manual steering. 5-speed. Hatch was replaced in 2000, car was repainted in 1996 but stored out side. It has a dent in front drivers fender where a careless driver hit it while parked in my reserved space at the apartment. There is a box of misc parts included: oil seperator, filters, plugs, front brake pads, misc gaskets and seals, new coil, electrical connectors, etc. Two copies of printed out shop manual pdfs and Porsche Pet 6 cd included.
Title is clear, mileage is unknown but high. I lost the title but will be applying for a replacement this weekend.
I just had an offer on a new house accepted. I was planning on restoring it but have lost interest since getting my SLK and don't feel like spending the money necessary to do the job right. I've owned the car since the 1980's and don't feel like or have the facilities to part it out. After I move, I plan to buy a convertible as a project car, maybe even a 944/968 cab.
It's been a fun ride but it's time to move on.
Best offer. Email blackcube@blackcube.org or PM here.
Edit: I will get some pics up later at:

Timing will depend on how early I get home tonight.

Wait, do my eyes deceive me, an ad for a car and "rennlist member" is under the name.
Maybe not the first time, but refreshing none the less.
Good luck with the sale.
As Chief Wiggins woud say "Nothing to see, move along Tom and Tifo."

Why not a member? Even the short time I've been on here it has been worth the few bucks.
I have no illusions about value for the car. I'm looking at somewhere over $500, cash and trailer away.
