Default lower dash re-dying?

just picked up a mint condition dash for my 89 s2, only problem is its all black.
my interior is linen so the lower part of my current dash is "off white"
do i try to transfer the lower panels (seems pretty difficult) or do i try to
re-color the lower sections. if i do this any recommendation on a product or proceedure that will give good results?
thanks in advance

can't transfer the lower panels...i recommend selling the black mint dash for some money and then having your current dash recovered at a place like 944 online.

I agree with Jake.
My case was the opposite. I bought a perfect black/linen dash and had the bottom re-dyed black. That worked out very well. It will not work the other way around.

Buckshot,
Check this out...https://rennlist.com/forums/for-sale-ads-member-to-member-fs-wtb-free/215714-late-944-dash-with-no-cracks.html
You should be able to dye tan to linen.

the reason i bought it was it has a passenger airbag which mine also has. very hard to find one
with that option... i'm going to look into having it re-covered...or switching out my console to a black one.. it may look ok if i keep it black??
thanks for th answers..

I think a black bottom dash in a linen car will look fine.
