Default sun roof wiring diagram

Hi guys and gals,

Last night I did the shifter brass bushing trick. What a difference. It just keeps getting better. (last weekend I did the balljoints yeehaa) Anyway... what I discovered this morning was that in moving the console around I had pulled out all the wire ends from the sunroof switch plug. OK, no broken plastic - still have a chance to get out of this with no further egg on the face. But...What wire belongs to what pin. I can see on the back of the plug, what the pin #s are but dont want to chance winging it. Anyone?

Thanks for that C. Clarks has the detail for the limit switch but not for the console switch. Yes I did the search and no I don't have PET. Anyone?

Sorry, couldn't wait. 10PM and I have to drive to work tomorrow @ 7:00AM. Gave it my best shot. Got some right - position 1 release and lock works fine. Position 2 open does not. Tomorrow is another day. Guess it will be trial and error. Will post results.

Re; brass bushing trick - just do a search for "shifter brass" and you will find the original referance. What it is, is drilling out the shift linkage rod to 29/64ths and installing a one inch piece of 7/16 OD brass tubing as a bushing over a worn shifter linkage pin. The fix rocks. The difference is nothing short of amazing. Still have my problem with the wiring for the sunroof switch - anyone with PET to the rescue?

Did a Google and found a wiring diagram at Pelican parts. I dont know what the policy is with publishing links but let's try anyway (Pelican is a sponsor and all). This is for the 84 model but the switch wiring is the same for the 85.5. Cant say for other elements in the diagram.

Anyway the console is back together and all is well.
