Default Suggestions for license plate frame?

I've priced the license plate frames that say "PORSCHE" on them and they seem to cost an arm and a leg...not sure why. So I may opt for a cheaper dealer frame or something. I want it to be "cool". Any suggestions? Maybe some Porsche dealership has a nice frame for a reasonable price? Zanzibar Island Porsche or something like that?

"My other car is a Porsche" I always wanted one considering the number of Porsche's I've been thru.

IMHO, I prefer a simple, thin black edge, front and black. Clean looking and sharp. Everyone knows it's a Porsche and the decal above the bumber says so.

Getting a dealer frame from a unique dealer is a cool idea, kind of like the spare tire cover on a Land Rover.

Keep us posted.

Does the license plate need to say anything at all? The name porsche is already on the back of the car. A nice quality black metal frame with clear lens would be a nice touch.

Shhh! When kids do it their Hondas, it's called "rice". OTOH, when a P-car owner does it, it's proudly displaying the marque...

Cool

I've seen numerous Porsche license plate frames of various types on e-Bay at a reasonable price. Several of their "stores" specialize in them. I purchased one am happy with it.

I had them made at an engraving shop. "There is no substitute". I had the front one engrave as a mirror image. It got lots of comments.
