Sounds great, glad you can make it...looks like a small run so far...4-6 cars (short notice thing). The small ones are good, less confusion usually. We've had up to 12 cars and was like a freakin parade, everyone bunched up and hitting the brakes. We usually exchange cell numbers the night before the run in case someone is running late or has to cancel. Keep checking the link for the head count. I post tomorrow those confirmed and those sitting on the fence. I prefer regular email, PM is hit and miss here sometimes. Mine is sburke45@comcast.net

Regards,
Steve

Glad to hear you can make it Deni. Do you want me to bring those 951 springs to the Marriott? Crazy Eddie would like you to take a head light bucket assembly I have back with you if you can. Beats shipping them. That brings us up to 5 cars. Me, Serge, Dan S., Josho, and Deni. Undecided are David and Dan D. Chris R.is in Colorado, Brad might be in India for work. Still haven't heard back from a couple others but we'll see. There's a 951 owner in Grass Valley who posts here but I can't remember his name.

Yeah, bring the springs. Maybe I can drag Chris L. with me. I can take that stuff back here too. Cool...

Add another 951-TurboStar944 with his SO is planning on making it from the Bay Area. Another woman always along helps my wife feel a bit better and less outnumbered.

More or less. We usually take the twisty roads both ways. You can always just go one way and get off on 50.

For those with less time they can bail at the end of leg 1 shown in the maps above. That should put them at Ice House Road and Hwy. 50 at 12:30 or so and back to Sacramento by 1:45. The ones continuing on for leg 2 will be back in Sac by 3:00 or so. If DanD. comes he can go back on 88 at the Mormon Immigrant/Silver Fork connection of leg 2. Sounds confusing but we'll go over it the morning of the run to make sure everyones's home at a decent hour. Last time Brad from Santa Rosa was back home by 3:00. Anybody got radios this time?

As much as I want to go, it looks like I'm out. Hall pass was not approved.....Air show at GV airport caused the rejection. I'll be there next time, or maybe you'll be my way next time (La Porte rd)?

You guys have fun, and do be careful.

I am really trying to make this thing but I am having idleing problems with the car.....so last night I replaced the fuel pressure regulator (torn diaphram with fuel spilling out the vacuum side) and replaced the plugs (#2 was very bad....lots of corrosion and soot.....#4 didnt look too good either). Anyway fired it up after all this and still sputtering......although Jimmy from Mobile Works says I may need to readjust my adjustable fuel pressure regulator.....and fuel was leaking from the #2 injector this morning (I probably accidentally loosened the clip holding it to the rail). So if I can get everything fixed tonight I might be a go for tomorrow. Oh and I am always open to anybody who wants to come and assist. Still have 4 shocks that need to get in.

Boy, they're dropping like flies...Serge coughed up a cooling line this morning. If this keeps up I'll have to pull a trailer just to have some company.

Which airport?

Are you flying in, if so, what are you flying?

Josho, do you want me to bring the swaybar? I'll probably still come and just ride shotgun at the least.
