Default Can you test spark plug wires with a multimeter?

I am woindering if I have a bad plug wire. Is testing the resistance from one end to the other the way to check these?

You can set teh meter to continuity and check it's continuity. Many times spark plug wires are flaky, and not completely dead. So finding a one time check may not do any good... its generally a wavering or faulty issue with spark plug wires. Although checking continuity would at least tell you if it's completely dead.

No, not very well.
If their age or condition is suspect, replace.
I suggest magnacore from www.apexperformance.com (about 60 bucks)
Some prefer other more 944 specific (expensive) wires but I don't have the energy to discuss.

About 5k ohms depending on length, wiggle while you test. No corrosion on terminals. Will not tell you if the spark is leaking out the insulation.
