OK guys - the next drive has been set.....FINALLY!!!
Saturday, July 23rd @ 7:30am
Barnes & Noble Parking lot
7660 Northpoint Parkway, Ste 200
Alpharetta, GA 30022
basically head North on GA 400, exit Mansell & turn Right(east) on Mansell Rd. then take a left at the first stop light. B&N will be on your right.
Plan on leaving by 7:45am so we can hit the Mountain Roads by 8:45am without any traffic. There are 3 stopping points along the way where we "regroup" so you can turn back early if you need to get back.
Any ?'s.... C ya there!

Hi Lizard,
Would a flat-land Floridian (who lives about 18 miles from Georgia)
be eligible to join you folks for the mountain run?
We have driven in that area before, and would love to do it "in formation".
We only dream of those roads about 11 months out of the year.Have run the Dragons
Tail twice, and lots of other roads in Western N.C.
Let me know if it is o.k. (I have a 1987 924S,and she LIVES for mountain roads).
My wife is not terrified by the driving,as I no longer try to explore the limits of tire
adhesion every time we go North).
Looking forward to hearing from you. Charles <cwjohnson@att.net>

charles - that would be really impressive of you & your wife coming up to Atlanta for this drive. Maybe you can make a weekend out of it and the wife can get some good shopping in ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
there is a motel right next to the B&N where we meet. you caould stay there but it'd be kinda dead for the rest of the weeken. i suggest stayin at the Westin on Peachtree as it right next to the two big malls and you're in the middle of a bunch of great restaurants

Count me in, I'll bring a friend who just got an 88 944. I was just thinking that I needed to e-mail you as to when the next run will be, and there was this post, Great Timing! and I'm even off that weekend end! Ed M
