Hmmmmm....Line the glove box with stainless steel , cut a passage to the turbos/manifold at the rear of the box ,add a chimney, and you have one heck of a mobile chicken roaster. Just like Boston Market only better! I'm getting all hungry now.

Kramer: No Jerry! I need that chicken, I gotta have that chicken, you leave
those roasters alone, Kenny never hurt anybody.
Jerry: You got a little problem.
Kramer: Oh I got a big problem Jerry!

Andy,

How did you coin the 949 moniker? Enlighten us remaining naming convention-impared, please...

How much do you need to complete the project?

I've had things on the back burner since Rock brought his turbo over for me to build him an engine. Basicly been doing litle stuff to other cars and his other car in the waiting time of finding a block. I'm ready to get his out of here(done or not) I want my garage back and if I'm just storing a shell and have parts everywhere, we need to get it done or gone till he has enough parts to do it.

949, well, as I could find no car in exsistance already designated 949 and I plan to build a whole car around the turbo setup originally in the 959. I'm going wide body and custom if that says anything, along with sequential turbos. Part 944, part 959. I was planning on actually using a real 959 part on the intake system, I need to find it, but I've been told I can't get it. Dunno if it's 959 owners only, ROW only, NLA, dunno. I was told that I cant get it by PCNA Atlanta. We'll see what I can work.

Till then, Rock, get your friggin car done and gone, or just gone!

so youre still going sequential? what about just a bigger vnt turbo form a ford diesel? there was an svo guy running one, and made like 5 lbs. at 1500, then hit the switch when he was already on the gas, and it opened up all the wway, and he said he backed off at 35 lbs. or so. he said he didnt mean to take it that high. problem is finding something to open or control the cvanes....did you already make something for youre little vnt?
