Default conversion of 2.5 to 3.0

Has anyone done a conversion from a 2.5 to a 3.0? Is it as simple as dropping in the new engine and DME, or is there more to it?

I don't know if I would call that "simple," but that is pretty much it. There are quite a few here who've done it. I'll let them speak to the particulars.

Welcome to rennlist!

No sweat. I see you are in Clearwater. If you are ever in Melbourne area or want to come by to check out the S3 conversion, just let me know. Also, if I'm around and you need help let me know.

well are you doing a 2.5 to 3.0 n/a or turbo? there's a big difference in terms of simplicity and time/money.
