Climate control conversion : Early to late?
Hey guys,
I was wondering if it was remotely possible to pull the climate control out of my early 944 and replace it with a late 944's. I would like to get rid of that pesky A/C **** and update the interior's appearance.
Its probably impossible, but I though I would ask anyway.

Early is controlled by cables where late is controled by vacuum. I am thinking you would probably have to change the whole HVAC unit to a late also...plus cut the top of the cowling under the windshield...etc....Not worth the aggravation.
