Default Paint Scratch Repair

I have a couple of massive scratches on my Explorer.
Anyone ever used this product?

No but there is a thread on here that says:
Just use touch up paint, let it dry(a little paint hanging over is not a problem)
Now get brake cleaner fluid put it on a rag, and over a block of wood.
This will take the raised area of the touch up off and leave what is in the groove.

Of course test the brake cleaner in a non obvious location. and even then it depends on what kind and condition of your paint.
The thread is on here somewhere, but USE CAUTION!

Yeah, I tried it. I got it to fix some rock chips and was pleased with the results. It really works. Looks much better than leaving a blob of paint on your car.
