Default clicking noise from rear

just developed a clicking noise from the left rear...i will attach sound files later tonight / early tomorrow. it seems to only be clicking when teh car is in gear, under acceleration and deceleration. does not click when in neutral. the clicking comes and goes as it pleases. it was gone for 2 days and now its back. cv joints maybe?

thanks

Could be a couple things, I've had a parking brake spring come loose and cause a clicking... You might try reversing the CV joint. I repacked mine with grease and flipped them a year ago when they were clicking, No sounds yet...

I'm throwing a vote for CV joints. Dad's 951 started clicking, I replaced the CVs and all is well.

CV joints sounds will be louder when you corner. Give that a try.

Dad's only clicked on accel or decel, neutral throttle didn't and cornering didn't really. Mom's will give a random click only in a left hand corner, only like one or two clicks and only in a random left corner, not all the time. They act how they want in my experience, lol. Also, Dad's only did it after hard runs when hot, they were about dry on disassembly.
