If anyone can figure out a way to cheaply transport a motorcycle from CA to MA I've been trying to negotiate this with him for a while. I even have a spare hatch I can ship along with it, then in a few weeks I'll fly out, visit the folks for a while and drive it back. I just don't feel like having to pay $1,000 to ship a bike I'm exchanging for a car that's got a book value of only $3,000. Doesn't make sense. I think I'm actually being kind of generous with the trade seeing as the bike's worth about $3k.

I have the glass if your frame is still good. Getting closer. So now his car is in boston and there is a hatch glass in VA, that's about a 15 hour drive depending on local DC traffic. Good luck on the sale, your price seams like it would be a steal!

Yea I could ship him a hatch. I don't think I could handle riding a bike cross-country and then having to drive back again afterwards. In some ways it'd be fun, but only if I were about 10 years younger or somethin'. . .
If you want a hatch, it's yours for cost of shipping. . .

Thanks Jeff! I will PM you to see about details. In other news, I will absolutely consider parting with this car for $1K in cash, I really want it gone before anybody decides they need more target practice! The buyer has to pick the car up though, I can't drive it anywhere. If somebody buys it within the next five days I'll include a 1.5 ton hydralic jack, a pair of 2.5 ton jack stands, and a mint Haynes repair manual, for $1000 this can't really get to be a better deal.
