Default Porsche North Invitation

Since this is the largest forum, I want to post a special invitation to all of you who may live close enough to join in a Porsche Gathering in BC, Canada. The link is in my sig below. I hope to get many different types of Porsches and people from BC, NW U.S., and Alberta. Come and spend a weekend with us, go for a drive, maybe play some golf, drink some beer... in beautiful Salmon Arm, BC.

Thanks Brian,
I know there are a lot Porsches in Vancouver as our sponsor is from there. Hopefully, there will be a group from Vancouver. Hell, I am trying to get a group from Prince George... imagine that.

I have that week off and very interested in attending, was already thinking of Whistler. So just where the heck is Salmon Arm? I am on Whidbey Is. Wa. and always up for a road trip.

Salmon Arm, in my opinion is the the nicest city in BC. It lies just East of the Rockies (within a few minutes). It is in the Okanagan are with the great summer weather but has the added features of being on the Shuswap Lake and being so accessible to the Roger's Pass. Take a look at the link. I beleive that Jeff has posted a map with directions now. Also, there have been a few from Washington express interest so you may be able to join in a drive, then meet the Vancouver travellers and have a real great drive with them. Salmon Arm is about 4 to 5 hours from Vancouver at the speed limit.

Thanks for the heads up. I have talked to some folks who have been to Salmon Arm and all had very good things to say. I have been skiing at Fernie and loved the country and the whole experience. I am thinking this is a go for me.

For those that are interested, please book your room, through the link below, as soon as possible to ensure that we can all stay in the Hotel. Salmon Arm can get busy during the Summer. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM or e-mail me.

The website is updated with the final itinerary. There will be a convoy leaving from the lower mainland if anyone is interested.
Webmaster: You can release this not from being stuck - Thank you very much for your assistance.
