Default WTB: Adjuster rod for fan belt

My adjuster rod for the fan belt (originally to a/c compressor, now goes to relocated alternator) decided to break at NHIS last weekend.

So, does anyone have a good, unbent, uncracked adjuster I can purchase?

Thanks,

Joel

Electric fans...no belt

Sorry that I don't have an adjuster for ya, but just figured I'd give ya a free bump.

Scott,

??? Does your car have an alternator or an a/c compressor? If yes to either one you must have an adjuster rod. The fans have nothing to with it.

Color me confused, but thanks for the bump!

Yes, I do have the adjuster rod...but it's in my car...not for sale. I was saying I didn't have one to offer you.

I was just confused when you mentioned adjuster rod for fan belt in the subject and wanted to make sure you realized there was no 'fan belt', thus why you may get some funky looks from people when you ask for the 'fan belt adjuster rod'.

Anyways, I believe 944online has them available (www.944online.com) if you can't find somebody who has one 'just sitting on the shelf' they'd be willing to sell you.

Yeah, fan belt. It's a throw back from when I used to sell auto parts many, many, many years ago. I should've said "alternator belt."

So, someone must have one sitting around in a parts car! I'm reluctant to by new until I can determine why it broke. I have a funny suspicion that the Broadfoot a/c delete bracket may not be keeping the alternator lined up properly. I made an attempt to measure if the adjuster rod was parallel with the belt, but I could not accurately gauge it by myself, under the car, with only two hands.
