Just bought it today, very cheap. But judging by the circumstances under which I bought it, I do not trust the PO, it looks like it has had accidents, etc. The title also looks shady to me.

Please help those of you who have carfax!

i'm not trying to be a jerk, but i have to ask...is there a reason you didn't do a carfax before you bought the car?

I should have done it before, but I did not see the actual title until today (after I had handed over the cash, and with the tow truck waiting to take it away). I thought everything was normal until that point, when I saw the car had travelled negative some thousand miles in the past 2 years when it was not even registered.

I am not too worried, as I got it so cheap, but I bought it from a guy who admitted he was having IRS problems, etc, and I just want to know the truth about its history.
