Anyone going to this? It usually has great weather and a great turnout, and the KCWS will be showing up in force for this event. We have arranged a group discount on rooms (217-342-4499 and give them conf # 85717265 , it should be $69/night, tell them you are a part of the Kansas City Wrenching Socety group) at the Hampton Inn right off the highway. We will also be hosting the "official Rennlist party" there on Sat night (um, don't look for anything special there, we *might* have some nametags for everyone, but no open bar, catered food or anything that costs real money!).

If a moderator can sticky this and possibly crosspost it on the other boards, that would be great.

Hoping to make it on Saturday. Scott, will you guys be in a designated area so I can look you up? Dan "the man" says good things about you. You guys will drive within 2 miles of my house going through Troy, IL on I-55/70. It would be nice to rendezvous and caravan together.

I'm planning on going. I'm not sure if I'll be there on Sunday, but Saturday is a go. The event is always very professional. Should be fun!

 

We actually made it onto the event map, and are front and center on the tarmac. We'll have banners up, so just look for the KCWS banner and hopefully a Rennlist banner will be done by then as well.

Drop by and say howdy and plan on hanging out with us at the Hampton on Sat!

Obviously, indicates the KCWS is HIGHLY esteemed!!! (I guess it helps to be one of the event sponsors too). Just wish you guy's would all move closer to STL. Looking forward to meeting the lot of you. Is Ben going to make it too?

Sounds like it will be a good time!!! I believe one of the Kansas City caravans is departing at high noon from KC (the one I'm in anyways). If people want to join the caravan on its trek through your area, I'm sure it could be arranged!

 

I'll be driving down at a relaxed pace on Friday afternoon from NW suburbs of Chicago (I-294/I-80/I-57), and also staying at the Hampton Inn. THIS IS WHERE THE KCWS-SPONSORED RENNLIST GATHERING WILL TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY EVENING, BEGINNING AT 7:30PM. FLYERS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE KCWS HOSPITALITY AREA ON THE MID AMERICA MOTORWORKS GROUNDS DURING FUNFEST.......PLEASE STOP BY TO MEET & GREET YOUR RENNLIST & KCWS FRIENDS. The Rennlist gathering will be a BYOB affair, but KCWS will supply a limited amount of ice, sodas, and snacks......nothing fancy. So, if you wish to eat or drink something "unusual", better bring it yourself. Just think of this as a *remote* CHICAGO BEER NIGHT !!! (and, you don't even have to be a dues-paying Rennlist member.....but, it doesn't hurt, either).

OK guys, I am definately in and will trailer the beast down there Saterday.

As long as nobody give me crap about the bondo job on the flares I will gladely take you for a ride. I plan on cranking up the boost to about 24 lbs which is well over 400HP.

Couple of us are leaving Detroit around 1pm Friday if anyone wants to hook up on the way down. Should hit Chitown area around 7p est.
