Of course, if I do replace it, then I have to start worrying about it and I'm just not sure if I can take all of that stress.
Just get you one of those $70 plastic coverlays...you will not be disappointed.
I will see if I can find some picts of how bad mine was on another 51 I had.
It cracked all the way down, so much that I could pick off a big chunk of the dash. Put a coverlay on it-like new!

Ok here are a few to choose from.
Tell me if I am getting close.

Make sure you all save these, because I am going to have to wipe them out sooner than later.

Here are some quick coverlay shots.
You cannot see it but the piece right before the vents to the middle of the instrument cluster could actually be lifted off the dash frame.

Judson, man..... I love your car.. I've had to change my pants twice already.... The roof is wrong.. I think you need to put it into an envelope and send it to me.....

I gotta get a scoop, mirrors and door handles....

Judson,

It looks great. Do you have any more plans in the works?

There may be a few things here and there. Just got to keep my eyes open for the right parts. I just bought the wedding ring 2 weeks ago, so there went $6000 grand that I could of used towards parts.
