Default Will 951 injectors work in a N/A?? Impovement??

I'm nearing completion on my Zemmitt silver "Celebration Edition". I have a good set of injectors off of a 88 951. Would this be any better than the stock injectors.
I will be a running a 951 head (Jim Pasha advice), msd coil, 8mm plug wires, and K/N drop in filter. The head has been slightly milled also, but not enough to make any real difference.

You'll need to have your chips rewritten for the bigger injectors. The DME only controls how long the injectors are open, not exactly how much fuel they're putting out, so if you just swap the normal ones to the more lbs/hr flowing turbo versions, you'll get rather rich a/f mixture throughout the range.

I believe there will be no improvement unless you're maxing out the stock injectors already.

I think the lambda sensor (O2 sensor) will detect the rich condition and pull back accordingly (not 100% sure about this however...). But...

This is definitely true.

Also, while a lot of the Bosch injectors in these cars are electrically the same and have a common form factor (i.e., they will physically fit), I was under the impression that the 951s might have had a difference impedence (mid-range) than the NAs (low impedence). Again, not 100% sure...

The lambda feedback works on a rather limited band (ie., it'll keep the mixture around stoichiometric when it's close enough already, and you're cruising down the highway...). It's also completely ignored when you really get on the gas.

FR Wilk does a rather good job at explaining how it works on his site: http://frwilk.com/944dme/ - see the "lambda inside" link on the left of the page. Amazingly simple, yet quite effective when everything is working like it should!
