He's definitely a car guy. I know he also used to own a 911. A number of years ago, there was a woman who had moved into his house in CT while he was on vacation and got pinched at toll plaza driving his 911. I also have a friend who used to work in the same building as Letterman and they said he would drive to work in his Viper periodically.

Leno's first Porsche was the recently acquired Carrera GT. From what I've read, he's not a marque kind of collector, but rather a unique and rare car kind of collector. Porsches, with a few exceptions are generally not that rare.
