What ever happened with this?

The 944 and 951 boards need a moderator (in addition to JohnD who is extremely busy), if not two. There are some people in this thread that would make great moderators.

I didn't think we had another moderator. Also didn't seem like the forum has been that bad lately.

 

I had just assumed Tifo you were getting it. I would agree with Tyler this board has been fair 'tame' recently...maybe we can police ourselves and all play nice.

I would not have a problem with tifosiman being a mod. The only problem that I have is the way he speaks to some people on the board. I understand you know endless amounts of stuff about these cars and thats great. But there are alot of people who come to this board for help. And when you have someone who comes across as a smart *** it tends to **** people off. I have never met tifosiman nor do I know him personally I just think he sould try not to be such a smart *** and he would be a great mod. Just my 2 cents.

Never heard anything back. I assume that John doesnt want help. It is his board so no problem.

Andy, c'mon....one day you'll get "lucky" and then everything will be "bunnies jumping through the meadows in spring time", who needs a moderator like that?
I suppose I am a little famous for my "user" crusades.........but my typing skils suck, and I have bad hair days, and my pedicure is a disaster! It sounds inviting, but I'll pass.

Most of the time I am just joking around. If that comes acrossed wrong, I apologize. Frankly, most of the people on the 951BBS come acrossed far worse, especially lately. That place is like the Wild West over there. I think that latest episode with the group buy (which I assume you are talking about mostly) got far out of hand, much more than it needed to be. If a moderator was working that BBS, they could have simply cleared the air quickly and had it done with, instead of the dragging out it got from ehal, NZ, scary eddie, et al.

I have absolutely zero desire to be a moderator now after that debacle, if that is the way that people get treated by bringing up the rules and trying to do the right thing. Just imagine the carnage over there if a moderator had to put an end to a GB that did violate the rules.

But someone needs to be, so that is why I brought this up again.
