Nice drive home this morning...
if youre a car lover, youll love this...
im taking some backroads back to the interstate this morning as i leave my girls house headed back to Macon and a 996 Cab passes me...
i'm thinking to myself, ok... that was awesome. then just as i get on the interstate i pass a Bentley Coupe...
at this point im thinking "how cool, 2 cool cars in one trip." so im driving along i75 when i see a convoy of Corvettes going north. Not only were they Vettes, but the first FOUR were Grand Sports!!! i think ive only seen like 2 of these in person since they came out and there goes four of them headed to Atlanta, followed by two other regular vettes.
So now im stoked. ive seen a Bentley, a Porsche, and now 6 Corvettes- 4 of which were Grand Sports. It cant get any better... WRONG.
BAM... about 5 miles after i pass the Vettes, another Bentley... this time the big boy...

just teh other day, on a 15 minute drive i saw my first 997 in person on some backroads.
Then, on rt 1 i saw a BMW Z8, first time i've seen one, and what was even cooler is it was a Z8 Alpina (1 of 500 in the US i believe)

The other day I had a great bus ride to work, within 15 mins:
in order, I saw: Viper GTS, Lambo Gallardo, Ferrari F430, at least 3 993's, Ferrari Berlinetta, Ferrari Maranello, and BMW Z8...
Oh yeah, and I see Bentley Coupes all the time, though I haven't seen the big 4-door yet...
Yesterday I saw a brand new Boxster S and a white GT3...
Man I love this town...
