944 A/C Cold at Last!
I have an 86 944 and have been without air conditioning as far back as I can remember - possibly 1999. A friend of mine came across some R-12. Two cans later and it is freezing in the cabin. I forgot how well this system can work.....when it works.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Hopefully it will last you till the end of summer. There is a reason why it leaked out, you really should find the cause of the leak and fix it first.

You also need an EPA certification to buy r-12. It's not a big deal to get one, but be careful about talking about buying / selling r-12 on a public forum unless you have credentials - you never know who's reading this. . .
